Posted by on Dec 10, 2012 in News | Comments Off

The MARA Project is a project aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of people living in rural areas in Northern Ireland.

It is funded by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) and delivered by the Public Health Agency (PHA).

Community Organisations of South Tyrone and Areas Ltd (COSTA) are delivering the project in the Dungannon and Armagh areas (and in partnership with TADA).

The aim of MARA is to increase awareness of, or helping households/individuals access local services, grants or benefits thus supporting those rural dwellers living in or at risk of poverty and social exclusion.
